Also, a Waste Not can be applied once the second manipulation step falls off (at 40/40 DUR) if you have enough CPs, but you'll burn a Steady Hand I/II charge and will also end up running a few steps without Steady Hand I.ĬUL is my only crafting class (currently at Lv.28), therefore I have absolutely no cross-class skills. *** Tricks can be inserted here, but you burn a charge of Steady Hand I/IIįeel free to replace some of the final hasty touches with standard or advanced touches. Hasty Touch (70%/80% Success), DUR at 10/40, Steady Hand I/II falls off ***įinisher (Careful Synthesis I/II, or Rumination-Steady-Hand-Standard-Synthesis, or Rumination-Masters-Mend) Hasty Touch (70%/80% Success), DUR at 30/40, Steady Hand I/II falls off *** Hasty Touch (70%/80% Success), DUR at 40/40, Manipulation falls off Another benefit of this combo is that you can fit all the steps into 2 macros (no Tricks) and end at 10/40. The combo costs 220 CP (Steady Hand I) or 226 CP (Steady Hand II). I stopped using Waste Not once I got this combo down because Manipulation lets me not burn a Steady Hand I/II charge. ![]() The combo I have been using gives me 9 touch attempts, all of which are under Steady Hands I/II. This is my first guide - thanks for understanding if it's not up to par or common knowledge - I have seen many guides on crafting but none that touched on this particular method. I do sprinkle in ToT as long as I'm not in the middle of Manipulation or Waste Not, and the occasional Standard Touch on "Excellent" condition. I HQ nearly 100% of the time using this method for Steel Ingots as a level 40 ARM.
